Seawater cannot be used directly due to its very high salt content. Currently, two methods are mainly used to desalinate seawater, namely reverse osmosis and distillation.

1. The reverse osmosis membrane method has a wide range of applications and a high desalination rate, so it is widely used. The reverse osmosis membrane method first extracts seawater and conducts preliminary treatment to reduce the turbidity of seawater and prevent the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and algae. Then, a special high-pressure pump is used to increase the pressure so that the seawater enters the reverse osmosis membrane. Due to the high salt content of seawater, the seawater reverse osmosis membrane must have high desalination rate, corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance, and pollution resistance.

2. The distillation method is mainly used for large-scale seawater desalination treatment and places with abundant thermal energy.

The seawater desalination equipment is simple to operate and maintain. As long as there is seawater and electricity, fresh water can be provided immediately after startup. The equipment has a high desalination rate, stable performance, safety and reliability, and a novel and ingenious design, which avoids frequent cleaning and no environmental pollution. Its frame is made of stainless steel, which is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant. The power supply has a wide range of application (220V/60HZ, 380V/50HZ) and can adapt to most ships produced at home and abroad.
